A loveable old toymaker named Gepetto creates a wooden puppet called Pinocchio. Gepetto’s wish that Pinocchio be a real boy is unexpectedly granted by the Blue Fairy. With a nose that grows, a giant sea monster and a pair of untrustworthy friends Pinocchio finds himself in one misadventure after another in his quest to becoming a real boy.
Finally with the help of a wisecracking Cricket, Pinocchio foils his foes and learns that only a miracle of the heart can turn a puppet's dream into reality.
