Set in turn-of-the-century St. Louis on the eve of the World's Fair, this homespun affair revolves around the Smith Family. There's Esther (Kendra Doyle), a bubbly young woman falling for the boy next door; Rose (Laura Nelson), a coy older sister stuck on a millionaire from around the corner; and papa Smith (Brian McCann) a beleaguered father desperately confused about who's in love with whom. For the record, Esther is mad about John (Anthony Carder) and Rose is sweet on Warren (Matthew Mann). Great music like The Trolley Song, The Boy Next Door, and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas make this a very special holiday show.
