Check for food and water entering the theater
Clean up after the show
Each usher receives free admission to the show All usher must wear a white shirt or blouse and black pants or skirt.

March 30, 1946 - Pearl Bailey makes her Broadway debut in "St. Louis Woman." Music is by Harold Arlen and lyrics by Johnny Mercer. It makes its home at the Martin Beck Theatre for 113 performances.
March 10, 1953 - Leontyne Price and Cab Calloway revive "Porgy and Bess" at the Ziegfeld Theater. It runs 305 performances.
March 8, 1960 - Tony Perkins stars as Frank Loesser's musical "Greenwillow" opens. It runs 97 performances at the Alvin Theatre.
March 26, 1964 - Barbra Streisand opens in "Funny Girl." Joining her are Sydney Chaplin, Kay Medford, Jean Stapleton and Lainie Kazan.
March 23, 1966 - After seven years of playing the part elsewhere, Hal Holbrook opens on Broadway in "Mark Twain Tonight."
March 16, 1969 - Betty Buckley makes her Broadway debut and Williams Daniels and Howard Da Silva star in "1776."
March 13, 1972 - "Irene" gets revived with Debbie Reynolds. It lasts 594 performances at the Minskoff Theatre.
March 18, 1973 - Ken Howard, Michele Lee and Tommy Tune are together on stage in "Seesaw."
March 2, 1976 - "Bubbling Brown Sugar" brings back the music of Harlem in the '20s and '30s.
March 27, 1978 - Bob Fosse's "Dancin'" opens with Ann Reinking and Wayne Cilento.

Great Parking News at Sierra 2 - The 24th Street Theatre! As you are approaching the 24th Street theatre from Broadway, make a left turn on Castro Street and then a right turn into a newly available parking lot for theatre patrons. You will notice a new sign that lets you know that it is OK to park there for theatre events. This lot is very close to the theatre (a short walk right beside the theatre brings you to the front door, and the Box Office), and right next to the RSP rehearsal space known as "The Studio." So please feel free to park in this lot when you come to see the great shows at RSP! Just another way to make visiting the 24th Street Theatre easier and hassle free!

Overwhelming news for unmarried college students - Danny (Chris Scarberry) he a punk rocker and she Lizzie (Kari Pruitt) a feminist, Exciting news for thirty-somethings Pam (Kristen Wagner) and Nick (Darryl Strohl) a couple having difficulty getting pregnant, and downright shocking news for Arlene (Ruth Phillips) and Alan (Ross Modlin), middle-aged parents of three grown daughters, who celebrate their last child going away college only to discover they have a surprise on the way, share the trials and tribulations of parenthood. Warm and witty, Baby is comedy "in the family way!" Packed with laughter, warmth and insight, Baby moves beyond mood swings and labor pains in a celebration of life—and the challenges of creating it.

As you know, Runaway Stage Productions is a non-profit Community Theatre Company who has been providing high quality theatre entertainment for eight years in the Sacramento area. What began as a one-time only show in 1997 has turned into a year round operation, producing Broadway-style productions, Storybook Children's Theater, delighting children of all ages and Youth Musical Theater Workshops providing performing arts education for hundreds of area youth.

RSP is looking for input from you, our friends and patrons, on what you think of RSP. Applying for grants and funding opportunities is always a difficult project, and RSP is always working on these endeavors, so we are looking to you, our friends and patrons, to help with some information. Funding organizations are always looking to see how a program impacts the people who access the services it provides, so we are asking you to share your thoughts. If you have had an experience that has touched you, or someone you know, please let us know. We are looking for any stories or thoughts you may have had about the work that RSP does. So whether you have seen a show that you thought was well done, or if you have been involved in our YMTWs or if you just would like to send a letter of support please feel free, we would love to hear from you. In addition, if there is something that you feel we could work on, or if there is a concern you have please also feel free to send that along with your thoughts. Please be sure to include your name and contact information along with your letter. We appreciate your support for our work and we hope that with your help we can achieve some additional funding and be able to continue to produce the best community theatre around.
