Each concessions worker will be given a free seat to see the performance*
DUTIES
  • Pre-show:
    • Report to concessions manager in lobby upon arrival.
    • Assist with set-up of concessions in theatre lobby.
    • Sell concessions and assist patrons with questions they may have.
    • Re-stock concessions merchandise as needed.
    • Count back change to patrons during cash transactions.
  • Intermission:
    • Come to lobby during final first act number to prepare for patrons, insuring that concessions are well-stocked and fill-in items are accessible.
    • Sell concessions during intermission.
    • Provide excellent customer service (thanking each patron).
  • After Intermission:
    • Assist with take-down and storage of concession items.
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Arrive at theatre lobby 1 1/2 hour prior to show time
  2. Ability to handle cash efficiently and count change back to patrons.
  3. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  4. May be required to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
  5. Possess excellent customer service skills.
ATTIRE
  • Dress according to weather. Concessions will be sold in lobby or outside, weather permitting.
  • Concessions/Usher badge (provided)
*If a seat is not available for the performance you are working because of a sold out house, you will be given a comp ticket to one of the remaining performances of the current run.
