REQUIREMENTS
  1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  2. Must be able to stand while performing duties.
  3. Must be able to climb stairs
  4. Must Possess excellent customer service skills
ATTIRE
  • White top and black pants.
  • Usher Badge (Provided)
DUTIES
  • Ushers
    • Before Show
      1. Show up 45 minutes before the performance time (11:15 a.m. for a 12:00 p.m. show).
      2. Prevent food and beverages from entering the theater (With the exception of water).
      3. Assist special-needs patrons to appropriate seating area.
    • At intermission
      1. Prevent food and beverages from entering the theater (With the exception of water).
    • After the performance
      1. Pick up the garbage in the theater.
  • Concessions
    • Pre-show:
      1. Show up 45 minutes before the performance time (11:15 a.m. for a 12:00 p.m. show).
      2. Report to concessions manager in lobby upon arrival.
      3. Assist with set-up of concessions in theatre lobby.
      4. Sell concessions and assist patrons with questions they may have.
      5. Re-stock concessions merchandise as needed.
      6. Count back change to patrons during cash transactions.
    • Intermission:
      1. Come to lobby during final first act number to prepare for patrons, insuring that concessions are well-stocked and fill-in items are accessible.
      2. Sell concessions during intermission.
      3. Provide excellent customer service (thanking each patron).
    • After Intermission:
      1. Assist with take-down and storage of concession items.
*If a seat is not available for the performance you are working because of a sold out house, you will be given a comp ticket to one of the remaining performances of the current run.
