REQUIREMENTS
  1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
    Ushers under 18 must be accompanied by an ushering parent or guardian and are taken on a case by case basis.
  2. Must be able to stand while performing duties.
  3. Must be able to understand theatre-seating chart (provided)
  4. Must be able to climb stairs
  5. Must Possess excellent customer service skills
ATTIRE
  • White top and black pants.
  • Usher Badge (Provided)
  • Mini Flashlight (Provided)
DUTIES
  • Before Show
    1. Show up 1 1/2 hours before the performance time (6:30 p.m. for an 8:00 p.m. show).
    2. Show patrons to their seats.
    3. Prevent food and beverages from entering the theater (With the exception of water).
    4. Assist special-needs patrons to appropriate seating area.
    5. Guide late-coming patrons or patrons who enter or leave the theatre during the performance with minimal disruption to audience.
  • At intermission
    1. Prevent food and beverages from entering the theater (With the exception of water).
  • After the performance
    1. Pick up the garbage in the theater.
*If a seat is not available for the performance you are working because of a sold out house, you will be given a comp ticket to one of the remaining performances of the current run.
